ADSG needed a new online brand identity emphasizing the
shift towards providing and fitting shoes while maintaining
their core identity as a diabetic supply company. The new
site offers customers the option to purchase both shoes and
supplies by credit card or through Medicare coverage.
The purchasing process is made easier for current customers
with a "my account" area that provides purchase history and
enables re-orders. Clients can schedule their own fittings
with pedorthists through an online form. New revenue streams
are generated by new "non-Medicare" customers as well as Medicare
clients who purchase additional items not covered by Medicare.
In additional to featuring diabetic shoes and supplies, the site
provides a "for health professionals" area where required forms
can be accessed. The new site will serve a central role in the
company's vision for streamlining data transfer between
customers, the company, and Medicare. A Microsoft.net based
platform was used as the site foundation providing a suite of
administrative tools for product and commerce management.
