An initial "opportunity assessment" was developed assessing opportunities for increasing both number of site visitors and conversion rate.
First, Tellus performed search engine optimization with the current site to stimulate better search engine rankings and increased traffic. Within one week, site visits reached an all time high - and since the type of visitors was better aligned with APCs value proposition, sales increased as well.
Then, the new site was designed and developed providing a new online brand identity (custom graphics, product photography, logo, and marketing copy) and robust ecommerce functionality. The site is built on a Microsoft.net platform providing a cost-effective solution for ecommerce including a suite of merchant tools enabling product information management and well as order tracking and fulfillment.
APC personnel can now log-in from anywhere to update product information, receive orders, and track fulfillment through a browser based site management system. The cats aren't the only ones jumping for joy!
