Tellus is pleased to announce that Rob Kuhr has joined the Tellus team. Rob joins Tellus from Fry where, as Senior Systems Architect, he lead Fry technical development on the Kmart account (recently named “Best Site” by Forrester Research.)
As a Senior Systems Architect, Robert Kuhr's responsibilities are developing site architecture and strategy, establishing standards and processes for software development, the configuration and prototyping of new systems, establishing best practice standards for information architecture as it relates to technical components driving user interfaces, and is a mentor to the development team.
Rob has been working in the web/eCommerce industry for over 7 years. Rob has been involved in various roles (leading, development, architecting) in working with some of the biggest names in the industry like Eddie Bauer, Kmart, Nation Association of Home Builders, Zales, AAA, Godiva, Brookstone and many others. Rob has a very strong background in eCommerce and is proficient in ASP.NET design and development, Java/J2EE design and development, object oriented development, relational database development and administration, managing technical maintenance, and code deployment processes. Rob holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Eastern Michigan University.
