 The Stanley-Carter Opportunity: Industry Veteran Expands to New Markets.
For over 65 years, the Stanley Carter company has served large automotive and industrial clients with dependable, high quality piping system construction and installation. Clients have developed close relationships with the company (and long-term staff - many who have worked for Stanley-Carter their entire career.) Over the years, capabilities have grown and evolved from automotive & industrial piping systems to pre-construction planning and piping installations for public works, education, healthcare and pharmaceutical, research and development, and in-house fabrication. The challenge was to create awareness of these new capabilities.
The TELLUS Solution:
The new Web site emphasizes breadth of services and market segments served immediately from the home page where users can easily click directly into the service area of interest. Users can also click "services" to see an overview page describing each service area.
Imagery throughout the site conveys the large "corporate" projects that are the mainstay of their business while avoiding a more literal identification with "piping."
To achieve a new corporate brand identity, Tellus created a new logo incorporating a long-standing image of the Stanley-carter building. A traditional, corporate color palette is given a contemporary feel by using "off tones" and variations of similar tones. Duotone photographs throughout convey the Stanley Carter identity without detracting from the main color photography associated with service & installation examples.
